Many years ago, before colour photography, this was a very popular
thing to do. People would paint black & white photo's with special
photographic dyes to create colour photo’s. It never worked well and always
looked false. Now, with computers, lots of patience and the know-how, it’s
possible to colour old black & white photo’s with such stunning results
that it’s hard to believe the photo was ever B&W at all.
